Made from remnants collected during my PhD, ‘NGC Finds (2015-2018)’ showcases the variety of processes and techniques used at National Glass Centre, Sunderland, including lampworking, hot glass, architectural glass, 3D printing, glass printing, waterjet cutting, ceramics, and more. With limited prior knowledge of glass, collecting these ‘waste’ objects—the pieces left behind—was my way of learning about the people and the place. Each fragment tells its own story. Stitched onto a fabric background, reminiscent of archaeological finds, the work serves as a reminder of the beauty in what is left behind.
Fragments of glass, ceramics and other found materials stitched onto black fabric.
Approx 70cm diameter x 10cm deep
Postage within the UK only unless contact is made before purchase. P&P is £7.50
